Dr Almas Malik

Dr Almas Malik MBChB nMRCGP MPharm graduated form The University of Warwick School of Medicine in 2007. Prior to embarking on a career in Medicine she completed a Masters in Pharmacy at King’s College London and worked in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

After graduating from Warwick she undertook her medical training as a doctor back in London, and has enjoyed gaining a breath of experience in hospitals here, including work at University College Hospital London. Her experience in General Practice speciality training has spanned across accident and emergency, psychiatry, ENT, paediatrics, general medicine and surgery. After qualifying as a General Practitioner she progressed to Principal General Practitioner in her NHS practice and maintains this role alongside her private practice.

Her philosophy and approach in medical consultations is a holistic approach with an emphasis on addressing the patient’s individual concerns. Dr Malik is a great believer in the impact of mental well-being on physical health. She has an interest in health promotion and disease prevention and is currently undertaking a diploma in Nutrition. She is a continuous learner and has enjoyed supporting learning in others in her role as tutor for medical students at King’s College London.

Outside of work she maintains gym sessions and is currently shifting a hefty 150kg on a leg press!
