Podiatry is a type of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis and treatment of foot, ankle and lower leg disorders.

The Podiatry service treats foot pain, heel pain, ankle injuries and misaligned walking pattern. It also helps with minor disorders such as in-grown toe nails and infected toes/nails. Surgery is performed under a local anaesthetic by the podiatric practitioner and patients will have their initial assessment and post-operative appointments.
