Natalia is a Fully Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, of which there are only around 38 practitioners in the UK. This is the Gold Standard in Functional Medicine training so her clients are assured she is working to the highest level possible.

She is a member of the British Association for Applied and Nutritional (BANT), the gold standard for Nutritional Therapy practitioners in the U.K. She is registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Council (CNHC), the only Nutritional Therapy register accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Natalia’s clinic is based on functional medicine approach. This means that she will typically use functional tests (blood, urine, stool) in order to assess your imbalances that could be at the root of your health issues.

She is also trained in the use of nutrigenetic testing which is used  alongside the other tests to ascertain wether genetic predisposition maybe manifesting itself. For example, a genetic susceptibility to experience vitamin D deficiency can then be confirmed with a blood test to check your vitamin D levels. Natalia is also registered as HeartMath® coach, this self-regulation tool allows her to enhance results, taking her client’s health to the next level.

In addition to her functional nutrition practice at the Chelsea Pharmacy Medical Clinic in London and virtual consultations, Natalia also runs detox retreats in Tuscany, Italy.

“Create a ‘wind-down’ routine. If you have to stay at home, it can be difficult to distinguish between ‘day-time’ and ‘night-time’ as we no longer have the routine of returning from work to signal that we can wind down. You should allow plenty of time away from screens and create a routine to signal to your brain that it’s time for bed. Things like creating a ‘to-do’ list for the following day, some gentle relaxation exercises or reading a book can be very effective.”
